WATCHUNG, NJ - Feed To Give presented a check for $1280.33 to the Watchung Community Foundation on Wednesday, June 24. This donation was a result of the two successful fundraisers held at Valley View Middle School on May 6 and June 10 when the Borough of Watchung partnered with FEED TO GIVE and the Bernards Chamber of Commerce.
In partnership with Lawson Foods, FEED TO GIVE sells, among other items, discounted chicken. Over $6,500 has been raised for the Food Bank Network of Somerset County from these Watchung sales.
"Many thanks to the Law family, Al LiCata at the Bernards Chamber of Commerce, the Watchung Board of Education, the volunteers at our sales including Council Member Lindsay Goodloe and Board of Education members Jessica Ingrassia and Gail O'Donnell, and all the many neighbors who bought chicken in support of this great cause" says Council Member Daryl Eisenberg Knegten.
