HANNIBAL (WGEM) -- Hannibal children now has access to fresh meals this summer for free.
The Meals On The Go program has returned to the Hannibal YMCA.
Coordinator Josh McCaskey said kids that are enrolled will get breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks each day of the week from now until September 25.
McCaskey said the program will have a big impact in the fight against community hunger.
"It not only helps people who can't afford groceries but it helps people who may come up short on their groceries, helps them be able to supplement and be able to feed their kids better food because we are getting fresh fruits and vegetables," he said.
Kids need to be registered by Tuesday at noon to get meals for the following week.
McCaskey said those enrolled can pick up meals at Park United Methodist Church from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m..
