Amityville: An Origin Story

9pm, BBC Two

When the Lutz family moved into an idyllic house in Long Island, New York, in 1975, they learned that six people had been killed there the previous year – then fled after only 28 days because of apparent paranormal activity. It inspired a book and a hit horror film (not to mention dozens of less well-received spin-offs), but this chilling documentary series tells the real story. It speaks to people who were there and sets the incident against the cultural obsession with the supernatural at the time. Hollie Richardson

Here We Go

8pm, BBC One

The enjoyable family sitcom returns for a second series, with Jim Howick and Katherine Parkinson back as frazzled parents to teenagers. Paul finds his old boat in the garage and is determined to take the family for a fun day on the water. HR

Extraordinary Extensions

8pm, Channel 4

Tinie – once the rapper Tinie Tempah but now a knowledgable host of motoring and property shows – visits homeowners who are doing a bit more than just building a larger kitchen. We are on the Kent coast, where a bungalow is set to become a Miami-style beach house and a 1960s home is radically altered to capitalise on the sea view. Jack Seale

Would I Lie to You?

9pm, BBC One

We all know Craig Charles is a huge muso, but did he really make a 72-hour round trip to Australia just to pick up a rare northern soul single? That is one of the tall tales being probed this week. The other potential fibbers filling out the teams are the standups Shazia Mirza and Amy Gledhill alongside penny-farthing fan Jeremy Vine. Graeme Virtue

Fantasy Football League

10pm, Sky Max

Matt Lucas, Elis James and Andrew Mensah dive back into footballing mayhem for a second series as the Premier League title race intensifies. Expect more banter, clips and anecdotes, plus re-enactments from classic moments in Phoenix from the Flames. Special guests Mo Gilligan and Michael Sheen come along for the ride. Ali Catterall

The Graham Norton Show

10.40pm, BBC One

Dakota Johnson, who has joined the Spider-Man universe as Madame Web, sits on the sofa alongside the Oscar nominee Sterling K Brown, who stars in the critically acclaimed satire American Fiction. Music comes from Paul Russell, with his viral hit Lil Boo Thang. HR
