OCEAN CITY, Md. — White Marlin Open returns for the 2020 season with twists and turns due to impending weather and the pandemic, but as fishing begins, other worries fade and all eyes are on that day's catch. Watch the action via livestream below.
White Marlin Open kicks off Monday, Aug. 3, and will continue through Sunday, Aug. 9. The two-day extension is due to Tropical Storm Isaias, which is scheduled to pass through the area Tuesday.
Fish must be available to be weighed between 4 and 9:15 p.m. daily, according to the White Marlin Open website.
There are record 433 boats registered this year with a $6.7 million purse, topping last year's 403 boats and $6.1 million in prize money.
