Wheeler recorded nine tackles and an interception in Saturday's dramatic 21-13 victory at Delaware. He leads the Spiders with 90 tackles, leaving him ten shy of his third straight full season with 100 stops. He also has two interceptions, two quarterback sacks and eight-and-a-half tackles for loss this season. Wheeler leads a Spider defense that is second in total yards (316.6) and points allowed (18.6). The 11th-ranked Spiders host No. 8 William and Mary Saturday for the CAA Championship in the Capital Cup presented by C&F Bank. The game also matches Richmond's CAA-leading rushing defense (107.9 ypg) against the Tribe's CAA-leading rushing offense (277 ypg).
