After a year’s hiatus because of the coronavirus pandemic, Horned Frogs came together to collect 13,616 canned goods and other nonperishable items to benefit Tarrant Area Food Bank. The Center for Connection Culture led Frogs Feed the Fort in the collection of 9,674 pounds of food to provide meals for the hungry in Tarrant County.

A lunch on campus is the prize for the winning team, which was comprised of the Office of Admission, Human Resources and Marketing & Communication.

“We are so appreciative to everyone who participated and so very grateful that our Horned Frogs came together to help feed our community, even in this incredibly busy beginning to the academic year,” said Dana Sweatman, executive program specialist. “Thank you to all the team leaders who were our cheerleaders in collecting donations and to our facilities team who helped in so many ways. We couldn’t do this without them.”
