DAYTON — The Salvation Army Dayton Kroc Center will soon begin its annual “Read & Feed” summer program for families.
Starting June 7, a new book will be read each week by a special guest reader.
Afterwards, a free copy of the book is given to each family along with a lunch.
The program will run for seven Mondays at Stuart-Patterson Park from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
There will be no program on July 5th and it is a holiday.
The dates and stories are:
- Monday June 7th “Madeline Finn and the Library Dog”
- Monday June 14th “Thank you, Omu”
- Monday June 21s,t “Hair Love”
- Monday June 28th “Rosa’s Big Sunflower Experiment”
- Monday July 12th “Finn’s Fun Trucks: Rapid Responders”
- Monday July 19th“The Bear Ate Your Sandwich”
- Monday July 26th“The Most Magnificent Thing”
Families that attend all 7 of our readings will received a bonus 8th book as a thank you for attendings.
