Feeding the Gulf Coast and Wells Fargo are hosting a series of six food distributions during Hunger Action Month in Biloxi and Pascagoula that will provide meals to a total of 1,500 families.
Approximately 250 families will receive a mixture of fresh produce and dry goods. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on many families. Many people are struggling financially and facing tough choices between paying for food, shelter, or other necessities.
The bank is underwriting the meals and hosting food distributions at its properties in more than 20 cities across the country this summer.
The overall goal of the program is to provide more than 50 million meals nationally.
The third and final distribution in Biloxi will take place on September 11th at the Biloxi Wells Fargo Bank.
Three additional events will occur at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 1114 Jackson Avenue in Pascagoula on September 19th and 26th and October 3rd.
