Groundwork is nearly complete at Custom Performance Feed, LLC’s (CPF) new feed mill located at the I-76 Interchange, east of Lacy Shell Station. The next steps will be the pouring of concrete and the erection of an 80’x80’ steel building.
Ben Regier, owner of Custom Performance Feed, LLC is expecting the new mil to be functional in Spring 2021. At his current location 100 s. Elm Street, the former Dracon Feed Store, his current grind and mix production is limited. The new facility is an expansion of current operations and Regier will be able to add pellets, cubes, and cake to his line of products.
CPF produces a full range of livestock feed, “anything that does not include a meat product in the blend,” said Regier. The new facility will allow him to produce what he currently does in a week in a matter of one day.
The new operation will allow CPF to better serve its current customers and will be able to provide custom mixes for the livestock producers with the addition of new products.
Regier has owned the local feed mill for the past 6 years. In addition to livestock products, he offers forage crop seed and pasture grass seed, dog and cat food, stock tanks, tack, liniments, rubber boots, gloves, pancake mix, and syrup. Regier said he had no plans to move his current store to the new location.
