Alternative feed producer Veramaris has appointed three new members to its team just one year after starting production at its Nebraska facility in the United States .
Alexander Hillman was hired as chief financial officer from Vermaris's parent company Evonik, having worked for the chemical giant for about two decades in various roles across Europe and the United States.
He replaces Frank Beissmann, who now returns to Evonik after taking part as a founding member of Veramaris.
The company also added Herve Hartmann as its new general manager based at the company's production facility in Nebraska.
Hartmann formerly worked for parent company DSM for more than 20 years.
The company also hired former Mowi Sales Manager and Mytilimer Sales Director, Yann Le Gal, as retail manager, Europe.
Le Gal has extensive experience in the French seafood industry across the value chain.
Veramaris received US Food and Drug Administration (USDA) approval in June, clearing the way for the sale of its feed to US fish farmers.
