EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Markquart Motors donated $56,100 to Feed My People Food Bank in Eau Claire.
The money will feed 2,150 children in the Chippewa Valley area.
Feed My People Food Bank’s Executive Director, Nancy Renkes, states: “Summer is traditionally a difficult time for families and this year, with students already having been home for over 3 months, we are working hard to make sure they have the food they need to live a happy and healthy life. Knowing that this summer’s Weekend Kids’ Meal program is fully funded allows us to focus our team on getting the food to the children in need during this difficult time.”
