The LA Galaxy, Kogi BBQ founder Roy Choi and the Los Angeles Food Bank teamed up for a good cause to start the month of May, distributing free meals at the Galaxy's home stadium of Dignity Sports Health Park on Friday.
Choi was on scene, handing out meals in front of one his iconic Kogi BBQ food trucks that are well-known around the city where 1,000 free meals were given to drive-up customers, while the Food Bank also gave out 1,000 free boxes of food.

1000 meals served for free.
Took the whole 3 hours like a last second goal but a win is a win.
Thank you, Carson.#KogiPorVida #KeepKogiAlive
A couple Galaxy players also took some time on Friday to give back to the community, as goalkeeper David Bingham and midfielder Perry Kitchen delivered lunch to fire stations in Carson and Torrance.
